It seems like everyone has a glowing tan, from the rollerbladers to the friendly boutique owners. At the end of Manhattan Beach Pier, you can visit the recently renovated Roundhouse Aquarium. Lots of incredible restaurants and shops are nearby, along with over-the-top mansions for gawking. And just two miles south, you'll find one of the best hotels near the coast of the Pacific Ocean in Hermosa Beach: the Sea Sprite Motel.
People can fish on Manhattan Beach Pier with some regulations. There is no overhead casting, chumming, fish cleaning, or gutting allowed. Each person can have a maximum of one fishing line. If you catch a shark, you must immediately release it back into the water.
Where can I park near Manhattan Beach Pier?
There are numerous public parking lots right up the street from Manhattan Beach Pier. Some metered street parking is available and costs $1.25 per hour (you must pay with quarters). Parking lots near the beach usually cost $2 per hour and have a five-hour time limit.
